What is Towanda’s Voice?

Towanda’s Voice is the overarching vehicle for Ms. Bryant’s creative works. Ms. Bryant is an aspiring author who manages two blogs and a podcast. Her first blog, The Diary of a Stylish Buxom Beauty (DOSBB), which was established in April 2015, is a platform that focuses on self-love and acceptance with a hint of fashion and styling tips. She was encouraged to create the blog to share her plus-size fashion sense, and although she’s posted her favorite looks and doesn’t shy away from sharing where she shops, she discovered her true passion is inspiring love.

As the DOSBB blog gained attention from family, friends, and strangers, she was told “you should write a book.” In November 2015, Towanda pondered over the idea of writing a book about relationships, but she decided to create another blog instead, and My Heels in Life (MHIL) came to be. The MHIL blog is a platform where Towanda gives a broader view of her thoughts and foundation as it relates to navigating through life experiences. The name signifies her love for shoes and the entries highlight the path she’s taken, the lessons learned, and her hopes for the future.

In 2018, Towanda got the idea to create a podcast to discuss relationships and current events. She envisioned co-hosting a show with a male personality to give different perspectives that evoked further conversation and thought. This idea did not come to fruition, but in 2020 the Diary of a Stylish Buxom Beauty Podcast was created. As the host, she addresses topics that aren’t always easily embraced, like infant and pregnancy loss and divorce as a Christian. Towanda speaks and writes from her heart, sharing her experiences to encourage and strengthen all who choose to listen to her voice.

What’s Behind “Towanda’s Voice?”

The sensual and sultry sound of Towanda’s Voice is accompanied by unconventional ideas and thoughts. The woman who embodies this voice hasn’t always been as vocal about her stance and thoughts as she believes she should have. Now that she has embraced her voice, she is determined to share it to encourage and inspire others to find and use theirs.
