The question in the title was posted in one of the groups I'm a part of on Facebook. When I read it I thought it would be good for me to ponder over it and find my answer. The quote above is printed on a plaque my mother gave me as a Christmas gift. I am convinced the question and the quote are intertwined with my purpose.
Sharing My Voice is Important: I Was a Victim of Gaslighting; but, I Enabled My Voice and Escaped It
My audible voice is deeper than most women, so much so that I am often called “sir” over the phone. I’m glad that I learned to accept the voice God gave me, but I am happier about the confidence and strength I enabled to use it.
